Silly Birds Print | Murder of Crows
The Murder of Crows were inspired by the group of crows we often have around our neighborhood. We hear them nearly every day and their caw is unmistakable! The thing I love most about crows is their tight knit community. You often don't just see or hear a lone crow but see and hear many. They even hold when we might think of as "funerals" for their dead.
While many may look on a group of crows warily as harbingers of death or evil, these crows are painted to evoke closeness closeness and community. I think many of us can relate to crows in this way.
The original was painted on 3.5x5 inch watercolor.
